Alexisonfire is still going with “Young Cardinals” being their newest single. Rumors of the band breaking up began circulating when Wade MacNeill told a radio show that Alexisonfire would soon be no more because Dallas Green moved to L.A. Distort entertainment later released a statement from MacNeill..”What started as a couple of jokes to the media has definitely escalated into something bigger. We thought it would be time to send out a little press release to set the record straight. Alexisonfire IS NOT breaking up. We are currently writing new material for our next record and we are all deeply in love with each other.” Then came their newest album, Old Crows/Young Cardinals.
Alexisonfire is playing in Austin on May 5th with thrash band Trash Talk as their openers.
